【記憶口訣】
基變序，有規(guī)律，多數(shù)詞尾加-th。
一、二、三特殊記，詞尾字母t, d, d。
八去t, 九去e, 字母f把ve替，然后再加-th。
遇到幾十幾，只變個(gè)位就可以。
序數(shù)詞表順序，一般須加定冠詞。

序數(shù)詞的用法：
1. 序數(shù)詞要加定冠詞the。但當(dāng)序數(shù)詞前有物主代詞(his, her…)、指示代詞(this, that…)等修飾時(shí)，則不必再用the。如：
on the third floor 在三樓
on his twelfth birthday 在他十二歲生日這天
2. 序數(shù)詞常用縮寫形式，即“阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字 + 個(gè)位序數(shù)詞的后兩個(gè)字母”。
如：one → 1st; second→ 2nd; third → 3rd; twelfth → 12th; twenty-sixth → 26th
3. 序數(shù)詞可表示日期“幾月幾日”中的“幾日”。如: August 17th 8月17日 October 1st 10月1日

他們的生日是什么時(shí)候？
their birthdays是本句的主語，birthdays是birthday的復(fù)數(shù)形式，因此be動(dòng)詞應(yīng)用are。例如：
Their birthdays are in February.
他們的生日是在二月。
Our birthdays are in May.
我們的生日是在五月。
2. Is your birthday in July? 你的生日在七月份嗎？
這是一個(gè)一般疑問句，應(yīng)以Yes, it is. 或No, it isn’t. 來回答。用it來指代birthday。如：
— Is Linda’s birthday on July 2nd?
琳達(dá)的生日在七月二日嗎？
— No, her birthday is on July 12th.
不，她的生日在七月十二日。
— Is your mother’s birthday in August?
