►fall用法小結(jié)：
①作不及物動(dòng)詞，“落下；跌倒；(氣溫，價(jià)格等)下降”。
eg：Leaves begin to fall in October.十月，樹葉開始飄落。
②作連系動(dòng)詞，“變得”。后常跟形容詞asleep，ill等作表語。
eg：She was just falling asleep when there was a knock at the door.她剛要入睡，就有人敲門。
【注意】fell是fall的過去式，felt是feel的過去式。兩個(gè)單詞都可跟ill作表語，但意義不同。
eg：She felt ill yesterday.昨天她感覺不舒服。
She fell ill yesterday.昨天她病了。

in a/the tree在樹上(外來物，指與樹不相干的物體。)
on a/the tree在樹上(長在樹上的東西，如花、果實(shí)等。)
eg：There are many birds in the tree.樹上有許多鳥。
