①rain在此用作動(dòng)詞，意為“下雨”。
②a lot在句中作狀語或賓語，意為“許多；大量”，而a lot of則表示“許多……”。
它的后面既可以跟可數(shù)名詞，也可以跟不可數(shù)名詞。
